Of course, this specimen is incomparable with worldwide pieces of species,- but when did you see a Datolite specimen from this locale? Oderhaus near St. Andreasberg in Harz Mountains!!! The original label says Trutenbeck near Oderhaus but I did not find the site of Trutenbeck in any of my old books,- just Oderhaus. This specimen features pale wine-green, glassy and gemmy crystals with nice richness of faces and superb luster. I´m pretty sure, that this is one of the rare opportunities you will ever have to get hold of such a rare and classic piece. Ex Robert Jakob collection
