Description
Definitely a great specimen of this uncommon species from the world famous "KM 3" near Lavrion in Attica, Greece. This locality produced the finest Annabergites worldwide and this one is among ther best ones found in the modern times. Here we have a 2,5 cm wide vug, exceeding richly lined with superbly defined and intense apple-green Annabergite crystals. The Annabergite here has great luster, is glassy and gemmy with almost superb terminations. Over the years I visited this locality so many times and it was always a challenge to find good specimens there. Nowadays the good areas are almost exploited and even with heavy equipment it is almost impossible to find just a crumb in more or less good shape,- but this is a SUPER piece from this locality and nowadays not available at the mineral market.
