Description
Here we have a sensational and extremely hard-to-obtain Wulfenite from the type locality at Bleiberg in Austria. This wonderful specimen is covered with several of vibrant, orange-yolk yellow crystals up to 1,6 cm! The tabular Wulfenite crystals are lustrous, translucent, squarish in outline with sharp and stepped edges. Distribution of the Wulfenite crystals is ideal with most of them evenly distributed across the piece as isolated crystals or lightly clustered to preserve their textbook crystal shapes. These are very difficult to obtain and this is a fantastic specimen! Note that this has extraordinary overall aesthetics for an example from this scarce old locality.
