Description
This is a stunning Smithsonite specimen from the Berg Aukas Mine of Grootfontein in Namibia, rather known for its world finest Descloizite pieces. But this site has produced some of the finest Smithsonite specimens as well,- and this is a real great one with well defined, pale amber coloured crystals. They are very sharp edged, highly lustrous and transparent. The terminations are almost superb and there is a beautiful triangular pattern along the crystal faces. A SUPER AESTHETIC and uncommon piece in splendend condition.
