Description
This classic and relatively old time specimen features several vugs, richly lined with intense apple green botryoidal aggregates of well defined Annabergite and a pale green second generation. The Annabergite here is sharp edged, highly lustrous and transparent. This locality produced the finest worldwide Annabergite specimens over the years. I was told from long time passed away collector and friend A. Hartmann that he found such items, when he dismantled ancient walls of pastures in the 1970s. My active time in the Lavrion area was in the 1990s and 2000s and such great items were already gone. But this stunning and outstanding piece comes from the still mentioned A. Hartmann collection. A great opportunity.
