Description
Superbly defined, light apple-green botryoids of Adamite up to 1,3 cm in diameter on clean-white crystals of Calcite (maybe Aragonite) crystals. It is difficult to distinguish the two species here in the Lavrion area due to the fact that both are crystallizing similarly. The Adamite, the more important species here has sharp faces associated as glistening spheres, great luster and good transparency. A rather uncommon colour especially in this size. The Lavrion area in Greece produced the finest European Adamite specimens and this is a really great location piece.
