Description
Three excellent defined and gemmy intensive emerald green Emerald crystals from the famous Austrian locality of Habachtal in Pinzgau. The crystals here are showing a distinctive six-sided habit, they are sharp edged and highly lustrous as well. The three Emerald crystals are contrastful perched on typically schist matrix. These crystals will not be winning any awards or cutting fine stones, but - they are from AUSTRIA, so the specimen is significant as a locality piece. They actually are rather gemmy, in fact, even if slightly encrusted with the matrix schist. The longest one is 2,1 cm, and there are two smaller ones on the edge of the specimen. An old specimen, and hard to obtain!
