Here we have a fine and aestehtic specimen of acicular Malachite crystals richly perched on gossan matrix. Definitely a very rare old German classic - SUPERB sprays of Malachite, set in gossan matrix, from Germany´s ancient mining district in Siegerland. The elongated crystals of Malachite, which reach up to 1.0 cm in lenght, have an adamantine luster that is nothing short of fantastic, and a deep forest green colour that complements the luster perfectly. These crystals are not large by worldwide standards, but they are stunning by the standards of old German Malachites, and important for the location and the style. An old specimen, rare on the market and comes with a fine old label. Note: This specimen was still offered in a former auction but broken in 2 pieces when packing. Does not detract from the quality.
