Description
This is by far the most valuable specimen we ever offered in an auction and the photo speaks for itself, I think! This is a crazy good "wire" Silver from Peru, with terrific aesthetics and one of the most elegant growths I have ever seen from here. Wire Silver is actually a rare form of elongated crystallization, and such large examples only come from a few localities. It is in stature of the wire, comparable to old material from Freiberg in Saxony. I have seen larger Silvers from this mine, but none which had so much character or style as this one. It has not been cleaned to brighten it, and retains a subtle yet bright natural patina. Evaluated in our stock with 6500,00 €
