Description
Here we have a superb Sphalerite specimen with several large, multifaced and mirror bright crystals. Emplaced on limestone is a mound of intergrown, splendent, black Sphalerite crystals, to 3,2 cm in length and as 4 cm measuring clusters, with reddish-brown highlights. With magification you can easily see the gemminess and sharpness of the Sphalerite. Mined in February 1988 from the Butter knife Pod. Beautiful and lustrous in person! Note it is nearly complete, with only minor peripheral imperfection.
