Description

A perfect cluster of deep royal blue Cavansite crystals with a slight green hue is perfectly exposed on cream-white sparkling Stilbite matrix. The Cavansite aggregate has a diameter of 2.3 cm and consists of countless highly lustrous crystals. The piece has been exquisitely trimmed to show its best display side; it is very colorful and extremely aesthetic. This specimen may be just a tad over 20 years old, but it has now become quite rare as the Cavansite-bearing clefts of the past have been mined out, and new ones that could provide new material have not been encountered for years.
