Description

You are looking at a superb Aquamarine specimen from inventory that was set aside years ago. A small cabinet specimen from the Ariakas pegmatite at Davib Ost Farm 61 in the Namibian Erongo Region. Some doubly terminated crystals up to almost 5 cm tall. They are extremely sharp with a typical pronounced hexagonal long prismatic habit and a clear sky blue color, perched on cream-white Feldspar matrix. Perfectly formed flat terminations and the gemminess of about the upper 1/5 of the crystals add to the beauty and aesthetics. On the back of one of the crystals you can see the hexagonal impression of a broken crystal. A very elegant and highly aesthetic Aquamarine specimens with slender, well-formed crystals. Without a doubt, a top quality piece for the Erongo region from the late 1990s!
