Description

It is common knowledge that good Japanese mineral specimens are rarely offered on the European or American markets. And those who covet Japanese minerals have to travel to Japan. However, from time to time, we have very good Japanese pieces such as this Hematite specimen from the Sennin Mine for sale. The mine worked an Iron-Copper deposit from 1911 until its closure in 1974. This very aesthetic drusy specimen is richly set with excellent, steel gray, wonderfully striated Hematite crystals that measure over one centimeter in size. These are very precisely crystallized, have a high metallic luster and form a wonderful contrast to the beige matrix. This is a great opportunity to ad a classic and, above all, RARE JAPANESE specimen to your collection.
