Description

The incredibly high luster paired with excellent gemmy translucency and crimson red color are the striking highlights of this specimen. The main crystal measures an impressive 1.2 cm, with a perfect flat termination with beveled edges and is crystallized in a perfect trigonal six-sided prismatic habit. This crystal and some smaller ones are perched on white, curved Dolomite rhombohedrons with a great adamantine luster. The matrix is very typical for the locality. The pictures show everything you need to know about this super aesthetic and classic piece with an incredible color contrast. A specimen in old style and quality, hard to find on the market these days.
