Description

This magnificent specimen consists of a plate richly covered with water-clear Danburite crystals with a number of doubly terminated Amethyst crystals on top. The translucent, prismatic Danburite crystals are as good as undamaged, and if there are imperfections, they are extremely difficult to detect. I can see almost exclusively see perfect, typically sword-shaped terminations. The short prismatic, translucent Amethyst crystals measure up to 0.7 cm in size and are of a nice light purple color. This is a fairly rare material from a relatively small pocket that was discovered in the early/mid 2000s at the San Bartolo Mine, and has now almost completely disappeared from the market. This is an extremely good opportunity to get your hands on this piece with excellent aesthetics at a very reasonable price.
