A superb, freestanding cluster of rare Fresnoite crystals up to 1,4 cm stands dramatically upon contrasting matrix here! Fresnoite is among the rarest of the San Benito County mineral suite, perched on contrasting matrix of small Analcime crystals! The world´s best Fresnoites, undisputedly came from a small region near the Benitoite mine in this region, in particular the Junnila Claim. This sharp and multifaced crystals are pristine all around, razor sharp and they are showing a fine silky luster. This is by far the finest Fresnoite ever went through my hands and such great stuff is exceedingly hard to come by.
