Description

A classic English Fluorite specimen from the old West Pasture Mine of Weardale in Durham. West Pasture Mine, just north of Stanhope is famous for its beautiful pale wine yellow to pale apple green Fluorite, a colour just about unique to this mine and making it a firm favourite with collectors. This wonderful piece hosts several glassy and gemmy cubes with pale wine yellow colour up to 1,3 cm on edge. They are super sharp and highly lustrous. The matrix consists of brown botryoidal Siderite. A super oldtimer with only minor hardly recognizable imperfections.
