Description
Creamy to pale yolk-yellow, striated and translucent, rare Weloganite crystals perched in a vug. The relatively large, pagoda shaped crystals measuring up to 1 cm, are sharp edged and perfectly terminated. This rare hydrated, strontium, sodium, zirconium, carbonated is from the type locality and is named after famed Canadian mineralogist, W.E. Logan. A superb miniature sized specimen of one of Canada´s most bizarre weirdly-formed rare species, hard to obtain today.
