Description
Despite "just a mini" this is a real great one,- a sensational and extremely hard-to-obtain Wulfenite from the type locality at Bleiberg in Austria. This beautiful specimen is covered with dozens of vibrant, yellow, slightly orange hinted crystals up to 7mm. The tabular Wulfenite crystals are lustrous, translucent, squarish in outline with beveled edges. Distribution of the Wulfenite crystals is ideal to preserve their textbook crystal shapes. These are very difficult to obtain and this is a fantastic specimen. From the old Austrian collection of Dr. Pesl of Vienna. Note that this has extraordinary luster and colour aesthetics for an example from this scarce old locality.
