Description
A superfine and relatively large Azurite specimen from the famous Christiana Mine ( adit No. 132 ), close to the village of Aghios Konstandinos, 5 km northwest of Lavrion in Attica, Greece. Here we have numerous well developed, deep azure blue crystals, associated as fine clusters, richly perched on typically gossan matrix. Such great items were still rare and sought in my active "underground time" there, almost two decades ago.
