Description

An excellent and now classic Stilbite piece richly set with beige, silky crystals up to 0.5 cm in size. As the Autobahn A9 between Bayreuth and Hof was expanded, at the Schiefe Ebene near Himmelkron nice Stilbite crystals were found in 1996 and 1997 during the workings. Of course, this site was defunct immediately after the construction work was completed and good pieces from here, like this one, are practically no longer available.
