Description

Another top specimen from the Starí Trg Mine of Trepča, and most likely mined in the 1970s. Typically, Trepča Rhodochrosite is often pink with a noticeable brown tinge. The spherical clusters here reach a diameter of 1.5 cm and are wonderfully aesthetic and contrasting with black Sphalerite crystals on the display face. The backside features wonderful snow-white Calcite scalenohedra to over 1 cm.
