Description
The Christian Levin Mine in the Dellwig district of Essen was an old coal mine that was defunct in 1960. Over the years it has provided a number of good Baryte and Galena specimens and this one is a good sample of course. It features several cubed Galena crystals up to 1,9 cm with a beautiful lead gray color and a fine metallic shine. The Galena crystals are accompanied by small brassy Marcasite.
