Description
This is a great ore specimen from Bolivia: Steel gray cylindrical (guess why the mineral got its name?) Cylindrite crystals up to almost 1 cm. They have a very strong metallic luster, and some coating of a beautiful, sometimes iridescent patina. A rare specimen that could very well be from the TYPE LOCALITY for the species: the Santa Cruz Mine, Poopó, Poopó Province, Oruro, Bolivia.
