If you have never heard of the mineral species Hydrotalcite before, you are not alone. It is relatively rare. Here is your chance to get your hands on Hydrotalcite. The crystals, up to 2 mm tall are beige brown. Many of the crystals show their perfect hexagonal crystallography and bipyramidal crystal form. The matrix of the specimen is typical of the Brazilian Jacupiranga Alkali Complex.
