Description
Sulfides in alpine clefts are in no way comparable with their "brothers" of any other worldwide ore deposit. So rare and consequently hard to find for the strahlers. Here we have a superb cluster of golden, metallic Pyrite from the Griesgletscher (Gries Glacier) of Ägene Valley in Valais canton, Switzerland. The cubed Pyrite is well defined, sharp edged and almost pristine on the display side. Only a small amount of pieces came out from this pocket of the 1990s, largely treasured from the finder ,- but Joachim had the great opportunity to buy a few of them. Ex Joachim Hennrich collection.
