Description
This is a nice Fluorite cluster with sharp purple cubes measuring to 4.7 cm on edge. They have a good resinous luster and parquet textures on the cube faces. Some of the crystals display phantoms. This specimen is not entirely perfect, but it is a British classic from the Blackdene Mine which was mined for Lead since the 15th century. Fluorite mining started in the 20th century until the mine was closed in 1987.
