Description
What a beautiful cabinet-sized specimen with transparent, faintly amber-colored Calcite rhombohedrons. The crystals are up to 1 cm diameter tall with a vitreous luster. They are associated with sprays of whitish Natrolite. This is a true classic from the abandoned (flooded and partially filled) Richterbruch, a phonolite quarry that is famous for it cavities filled with Calcite and Natrolite.
