Description
You are looking at a German classic from the Georg Mine, which worked iron spar veins in Devonian schist and sandstones until its closure in 1965. A specimen with Bournonite crystals perched on altered Siderite matrix. The steel gray crystals measure to over 1 cm in size. They have a high metallic luster with a slighty bluish patina. As I said, a German classic, however, the crystals are not all perfect.
