Description

Look at this very rich Oliveite specimen from the Black Forest Clara Mine. Short prismatic Quartz crystals, superficially stained by Iron oxide are covered with dark olive green Olivenite. A later generation coating with a light blue mineral enhances the contrast of this colorful specimen. As a Black Forest collector myself, I would think the light blue coating is Arsenocrandallite, but I can´t say without proper analysis.
