Description

This is a rare Calcite specimen that was found during the construction of the Voralpreuss Water Tunnel at the Göscheneralp in the Swiss canton of Uri: Sharp, whitish translucent crystals up to 4.3 cm with a resinous luster and triangular nail head terminations are attached to little matrix. A top specimen, and rare!
