Description
What a great Beryl (var. Aquamarine) miniature. It is gemmy translucent, it measures 3 cm tall, is light sky blue in color, has sharp edges and perfect flat terminations. The luster is vitreous with select prism faces being frosted. A specimen of top quality from a deposit that does not pop up often: the Berylium pegmatites in northeastern Mongolia.
