Description

What a large Galena specimen with numerous large, lead-grey Galena crystals up to 1.3 cm. They are mostly sharp and perfect, with some of them beautifully tarnished. Tiny brown Sphalerite crystals and a matrix of sparkling Quartz micro crystals complete this German classic from the Lüderich Mine near Cologne, which closed in 1978 after 126 years of production.
