Description
This is a TOP specimen from the Clara Mine in the Black Forest. A wide open vug completely lined with botryoidal, deep forest green Cornwallite clusters. They are dusted with tiny Olivenite crystals. Great color and aesthetics! Specimens such as this one were relatively common in the 1970s and 1980s when the large dump was still accessible to collectors. Interestingly, these received less attention back then. Nowadays, the potential of these collectors’ specimens has been recognized, but none has been found for decades, which made these specimens rare and classics.
