Description
You are looking at a classic Floridian specimen, a US state that doesn´t have too many mineral treasures. Very beautiful honey-colored calcite scalenohedrons up to 1.8 cm are perched in a clam shell. The crystals are gemmy and almost transparent, and with a great adamantine luster. It does not get more typical for the locality, the family-owned Rucks Pit, a now flooded aggregates quarry.
