Description
This is a superb combination of Stilbite and Barite. Steel-grey Stibnite crystals to 2 cm in their typical habit in the shape of Roman swords are perched on very well developed blades of cream-white Barite crystals. The Stibnite crystals have a strong metallic luster, striations on the short prism faced and very good orthorhombic terminations. They are a great contrast to the whitish-translucent Barite crystals. A fine small cabinet specimen from the abandoned, but well-studied epithermal deposits of the Breiner ore deposits in northern Romania.
