Description
Crimson red Ruby crystals up to almost 1 cm and crystal fragments are perched on a Marble matrix. The Corundum variety is partially gemmy with a good resinous luster and well-formed terminations. It is associated with brass-colored Pyrite, and brown, translucent Mica flakes. The locality of the Aliabad Marbles in Pakistan is well-known for Ruby and Corundum, however, this is comparatively rare material.
