Description
This is a super specimen of highly desired BLUE FLOS FERRI from the Styrian Erzberg in Austria. Have you ever seen a mineral specimen quite like this? Probably not, because this is an old Austrian Aragonite, and they are just not around on the market. Its form is just incredible - an intricate forest of several wormy tentacles. It seems almost more biological than mineralogical! Aragonites can take on these forms from stalactitic deposition processes, but rarely with this delicateness and beauty. And the blue ones are way more rare and sought after than the white ones.
