Description

Nicely formed and deep cherry-red Rhodochrosite scalenohedrons from Uchucchacua Mine of Oyon, Pyru. The single crystals are sharp edged and highly lustrous with a size up to 1,6 cm. They are gemmy and transparent and showing a nice contrast to the black matrix. Classic material, now quite more hard to obtain than in the 90s. This is a fine, showy specimen.
