Another typical specimen from the Blue Ball Mine east of Phoenix in the state of Arizona. A cracked solid Azurite sphere with the internal void filled with sparkling, royal blue Azurite crystals. Very colorful and very aesthetic. And I have sked the question before: Where did the mine get the name Blue Ball Mine?
