Description
This is an exceptional miniature with hexagonal prismatic Pyromorphite crystals on white Quartz matrix. The caramel-brown to chocolate-brown barrel-shaped crystals to 0.8 cm in size display flat terminations, and are partially doubly terminated. When these Pyromorphites were found at the Bulgarian Pcheloyad Mine in the 1990s, they where not valued as high as comparable pieces from the classic German locality bad Ems. However, the pocket where these beautiful crystals were found was fairly small, and today, they are much rarer and hence the desirability increased.
