Description
An exceptional piece of “Schalenblende”, a compact, fine grained mixture of reniform sulfides, dominated by alternating layers of olive-brown Sphalerite and Wurzite and interstratifed massive lead-gray Galena. This is an absolute German classic from the 1953 abandoned Wiesloch Mine that worked the Lead-Zinc deposits near the town of Wiesloch.
