Description
This specimen is a typical and extremely rich ore sample of crystallized native Bismuth from the Schildbach Vein of the Tellerhäuser Mine in Pöhla in the Ore Mountains of Saxony. Most of the Bismuth crystals are not particularly well defined, they are tombak colored, and associated with grayish Arsenides. This is material from the 1990s, when finds were still possible. Now, the mine is reclaimed and no longer accessible.
