Description
Relatively rare combination specimen from the classic Italian locality, the Baveno granite quarries in the Piedmont province of northern Italy. Sharp anthracite-colored Babingtonite crystals to 0.7 cm with a vitreous luster are perched on a matrix of milky Quartz and Orthoclase crystals. The Orthoclase shows the typical Baveno habit. The matrix is dusted with Hematite , some selected crystal faces are dusted with Chlorite.
