Description
Wavellite is after Quartz, probably the second best known collectible mineral of the state of Arkansas. Sparkling, light apple-green crystal clusters of the Aluminum-phosphate Wavellite from the well-known site Mauldin Mountain, now abandoned aggregates quarries which operated in the 1980s and 90s. The Wavellite is translucent, and some broken spheres show a beautiful spray-like 3-dimensional texture.
