Description
Beige octahedral Mellite crystals to 1.4 cm from the Csordakuti Mine, a lignite quarry west of the Hungarian capitol of Budapest, that is famous for this species. This piece is rare for two reasons: number one, it is an ORGANIC mineral, and number two: it is a rare secondary mineral. The piece is translucent and has a good resinous luster. Another piece that you need to see with your own eyes.
