Description
We have all heard about the Blue Moon (the celestial body, not the beer) but who knows Blue Quartz. An opaque to translucent Quartz colored by micro inclusions of fibrous Magnesioriebeckite and/or Crocidolite. Just like this specimen from Los Vives in Spain. A bed of very short prismatic bipyramidal crystals on matrix. Rare stuff!
