Description
The grand finale for this auction is a Cassiterite specimen from Kinta District, a major tin producing area in Malaysia where most of the production is from alluvial Cassiterite occurrences. This extremely rare piece from a placer deposit shows spherical Cassiterite aggregates fused together in a conglomerate like cluster. Perfect all around and completely undamaged. Little matrix, fine-grained sand is found in the gaps. Wonderful silky luster completes the top overall aesthetics.
