Description
A specimen with clusters of Roman sword-shaped, golden to brass-yellow colored Marcasite crystals attractively perched on Marl matrix. The sharp crystals are well developed and have nice striations and are sharp. Although not quite perfect, this specimen is very impressive and very aesthetic . The active quarry, a huge hole in the ground east of Hannover requires permission to enter. It is better known for attractive fossils such as sea urchins.
