Description
This is a cabinet-size specimen with distinctly faint purple cubic Fluorite crystals up to 3.8 cm on edge. The edges of the crystals are slightly curved but extremely sharp. They are translucent, gemmy, and with a nice resinous luster. Some faces are dusted with Quartz and Chalcopyrite. The large specimen shows only very minimal imperfections, which are insignificant given the size of the piece. Top specimen with magnificent overall aesthetic from a classic British Fluorite locality that has been operated on and off since the late 1940s until its permanent closure in 1987.
